COURSE 2 - Advanced ActiveMetrics Application Development
Mon, February 20 – Wed, February 22 inclusive

Experienced ActiveMetrics dashboard developers will be taken to the next level of proficiency with ActiveMetrics 2.0. Advanced topics include working with data (query design strategies), keywords and parameters, Dynamic Charts, leveraging other web tools such as Google Maps and jQuery in your dashboards, troubleshooting methodology and more. A significant amount of time will be spent on the new PureShare Dashboard Development Kit (DDK). This powerful set of tools allows developers to quickly introduce great functionality to their dashboards and automatically add new features and enhancements each time PureShare releases a new version of the DDK.

This year, we will also be providing training on topics from PureShare’s internal developer training, such as using Google Chrome developer tools, a jQuery primer, performance patterns, code organization and best practices for HTML, CSS and JavaScript – and much more!

Pre-requisites: Students require a background in SQL and HTML, and should have at least 3 months of experience developing their own ActiveMetrics applications. Please bring your own laptops to participate fully in the hands-on exercises.
