Back by popular request, PureShare training will be offered in the three days prior to PureShare User Group (PUG) 2010.

Choose from three courses:

COURSE 1 - PureShare ActiveMetrics® Fundamentals
Monday, March 1 – Wednesday, March 3 inclusive

During this three-day course, a certified PureShare ActiveMetrics trainer will introduce students to the process of creating dashboards using PureShare applications. The first half-day provides an overview of ActiveMetrics, Dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other related topics. The remaining two-and-half days provides technical training in ActiveMetrics.

Pre-requisites: Students require a background in SQL and HTML. Students should bring their own laptops to participate fully in the hands-on exercises that accompany the lessons.

Instructors: Course will be taught by a certified PureShare ActiveMetrics trainer.

COURSE 2 - ActiveMetrics v1.0 to v2.0 Transition
Monday, March 1 – Tuesday, March 2 inclusive

The PureShare® ActiveMetrics™ v1 to v2 Transition two-day training course will introduce experienced ActiveMetrics v1 dashboard developers to the new features and capabilities of ActiveMetrics v2.  Students will learn how to migrate their version 1 dashboards to version 2 and also learn about the many new features and capabilities that are available in version 2. 

Pre-requisites: Students require a background in SQL and HTML, and should have at least 3 months of experience developing their own ActiveMetrics applications. Students should bring their own laptops to participate fully in the hands-on exercises that accompany the lessons.

Instructors: Course will be taught by a certified PureShare ActiveMetrics trainer.

COURSE 3 - Stephen Few: Dashboard Design for at-a-Glance Monitoring
Wednesday, March 3 – Full Day

During this one-day course Stephen Few will expose the common problems in dashboard design and introduce effective dashboard design practices through examples that explain what works, what doesn't, and why.

Prerequisites: This course is intended for individuals who design dashboards, and for those who need to understand the best practices of visual dashboard design in order to prepare for the evaluation of dashboard software..
